During this crossing between Pierreville and Saint-Francois-du-Lac, the captain takes great pleasure in interpreting the Bas Saint-Fran\u00e7ois area, a region that combines more than 350 years of colonial, seigneurial and Abenaki history.<\/p>\n<p>Nature and culture meet along the Saint-Fran\u00e7ois River and the Chenal Tardif.
